TC Group expands its presence in the South West following latest merger in the region

May 9, 2021

TC has again expanded its presence in the South West following a merger with Bristol-based accountancy practice, Copson Grandfield.

Last year, TC entered the accountancy Top 40 in the UK, having jumped 14 places to 34. TC also recently became the first UK accountancy firm in the country to offer a full range of investment, mortgage, legal and HR advice.

Established in 2002, Copson Grandfield grew out of the merger of two well-known accountancy practices that have been successful for more than 25 years. Since its inception, the firm has grown into one of the largest accountancy practices in the Bristol area. It supports all businesses, large and small, with proactive advice to help clients achieve their business or personal objectives.

Copson Grandfield founders, Steve Copson and Bradley Grandfield, comment: “This merger with TC represents another step forward for Copson Grandfield as it expands the range of services we can now comprehensively offer. Furthermore, TC shares our core values of providing friendly and approachable advice tailored to the specific needs of our clients.”

TC Group CEO, Richard Keyes, adds: “Copson Grandfield is a well-established practice with a history that goes back nearly three decades. This merger once again boosts our representation in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Steve Copson and Bradley Grandfield have spent their careers committed to building strong working relationships and providing first-class services to their clients – an ethos that shall continue at TC.”
